Admin > Admin Student Grades

The Admin Student Grades - Find Student page is the first step in viewing the Admin Student Grades page. You must select a specific student at a specific campus before viewing the Admin Student Grades page.

The page is only available to users who log on to txGradebook with a district- or campus-level security administrator user ID. However, the page can be used to run the Admin Student Grades report for a student group by any user who has existing groups. If you are running the group report, the page title is Admin Student Grades - Find Student From Group. Also, the Student Groups field is displayed instead of the student search options.

Search for a student:

1.        The Admin Student Grades - Find Student page is displayed allowing you to search for and select the student for whom you want to view grades.

2.        Choose one of the following search options for finding the student. You can search either by student ID or name; you cannot use both options at the same time. The fields are not displayed if you are running the group report.

      In the Student ID field, type the student’s ID to search for the student by ID. You can type a partial ID to find IDs that start with the numbers you typed.

      In the First Name and/or Last Name fields, type all or part of the student’s name to search for the student by name. The system returns a list of students whose names contain the letters you entered.

3.        In the Campus ID field, type the campus at which the student is currently enrolled. If you are currently logged on with a campus administrative ID, the campus ID is set to the campus for which you are logged on and cannot be changed. The field is not displayed if you are running the group report.

4.        Click Search. The button is not displayed if you are running the group report.

A list of students who match the criteria entered above is displayed in the Search Results table. The search results include the student's ID, name, campus, grade level, and entry/withdrawal dates for each campus. Students are sorted by last name, first name, and enrollment date.

5.        If you are running the group report, the Student Groups field is displayed. In the Student Groups field, click drop-down arrow to select the student group from which you want to select a student.

A list of students in the selected group are displayed in the Search Results table. The search results include the student's ID, name, campus, grade level, and entry/withdrawal dates for each campus. Students are sorted by last name, first name, and enrollment date.

6.        Click radio button to select the student record you want to view.

7.        Click View Student to view the grades for the selected student. The Admin Student Grades page is displayed.
